Activity Description
Rent a paddleboard in Charlevoix and enjoy the St. Lawrence River at your own pace in a designated, supervised paddling area. This 2-hour experience is ideal for anyone who has already tried stand-up paddleboarding and wants to paddle independently in a safe environment.
After a short safety briefing, you'll be free to explore at your own pace while taking in the spectacular scenery of Charlevoix. A member of our team remains on site throughout the activity to ensure your safety and provide assistance if needed.

Where and When Should I Arrive ?
The meeting point is located at the end of the Petite-Rivière-Saint-François wharf.
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the start of the activity to allow time for preparation and equipment fitting.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this activity suitable for beginners ?
Rentals are available to guests who have previous paddleboarding experience and are able to get back onto their board independently without standing on the bottom.
If this is your first paddleboarding experience, we recommend starting with our Introduction + Rental activity.
Where can I paddle during the activity ?
Participants paddle within a designated area selected according to the day's conditions and participants' experience level.
Is the activity guided ?
Participants paddle independently within a supervised paddling area. A safety briefing is provided before every departure.
What happens if I fall into the water ?
Falling into the water is a normal part of paddleboarding and is generally not a problem. All participants wear a Personal Flotation Device (PFD) and are expected to know how to safely get back onto their board. Participants must be able to re-board their paddleboard independently.
Do I need to know how to swim ?
Yes. Participants must be comfortable in the water and able to swim.
Can I extend my session on-site ?
All of our activities are scheduled for approximately two hours. Extensions may occasionally be available depending on availability and current conditions.
What level of experience is required for a rental ?
Participants must be able to re-board their paddleboard independently without standing on the bottom and must be capable of paddling safely without direct supervision.
Depending on the day's conditions and the participant's demonstrated ability, the paddling area may be adjusted or restricted for safety reasons.
