Intro Rental
Activity Description
This activity combines SUP coaching with a period of supervised independent practice.
You will begin with approximately 30 minutes of coaching from a certified instructor covering basic SUP techniques, safety procedures, equipment use, and the specific conditions of the paddling area.
Part of this coaching takes place on the water, where your instructor will accompany you and demonstrate key skills such as efficient paddling, turning, balance, and remounting your board.
You will then enjoy approximately 90 minutes of practice at your own pace within a designated and supervised paddling area in the bay near the Petite-Rivière-Saint-François wharf, a location generally more sheltered from wind and major currents than the open river.
A staff member remains on site throughout the activity and can respond quickly in the event of an emergency.
This experience is ideal for beginners, as well as those looking to build confidence, refresh their skills, or improve their technique before participating in a guided tour or renting equipment independently.
Total duration: Approximately 2 hours.
